  Donald E. Patterson, 73, left this world on the morning of October 28th, at the home that he and his late wife shared in Tehachapi. Don was born on March 20, 1938 in Telluride, CO to Thomas (Leighton) and Marina Patterson. Don grew up in Venice, CA and graduated from Venice High School in 1955. He found the love of his life, and married Julie Chambers on July 6, 1960. They continued their love and devotion throughout their SO years of marriage. Together they moved around the states following Dan's career in aerospace. Don was preceded in death by his wife Julie and his parents Thomas and Marina Patterson. His survived by his younger brother Robert (Bob) Patterson and wife Leilani (Lu), their sons Mike, Dan, and Ron Patterson, of southern California; his sister Sharon Logan and her husband Charlie Logan and their children Christopher and Marchand, of West Glacier, Montana. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Calvert Chambers and his wife Ann, and sister-in-laws Marjorie (Marilla) Vandemore and her husband Dick, and Edith Spinner and her husband Bud; as well as several nephews and nieces. No service will be held and the Woods Family Funeral Service was entrusted with all arrangements.
