  Claud Clary Jr. met Arthur Clary in Los Angeles in the 1950s. Arthurowned a real estate company in Hollywood, California. According toArthur, Samuel Clary moved eventually to San Francisco (after 1910),where he died in 1927. Arthur said officials from San Franciscocontacted him in 1927, told him that Samuel had died, whereupon Arthurprovided some money for a burial. Arthur indicated that Samuel livedout his final years as a "wino" on the streets of San Francisco.
